My Life in Abstract Form
An early morning in mid-December 1975 a woman from a suburb to Stockholm, Sweden, gave birth to her first son. That was the beginning of a new era (at least for him and his parents).
After a happy childhood and enduring twelve years of public schooling Per moved on to become a university student in 1994, receiving a MSc degree in informatics and a BSc degree in business administration at the Jönköping International Business School in 1999.
In 1998 Per was elected to the municipal council, where he spent two frustrating years trying to make a change.
While working in downtown Stockholm as an information technology consultant the interest for people and politics evolved and grew, resulting in him starting to study political science at Stockholm University during evenings and weekends. In 2003 he finally decided to work full-time towards a PhD degree in philosophy or political science and a career in the academe. Hence, he quit his promising career in the information technology industry to again become a full-time student at Lund University, where he earned a MA in 2005 after having worked as English teacher in Taipei throughout 2004.
He is currently a Ph D student in economics at the University of Missouri-Columbia.
